Instructional Design Specialist II

Major/Essential Duties of Job
The Instructional Design Specialist II will be responsible for designing
and managing a training development process. This position will work
with subject matter experts and technical writers to establish training
needs, prepare learning objectives, and define and sequence course
content for both classroom and online learning. He/she will utilize
their knowledge of adult learning theories, multiple learning styles,
and instructional design principles to maximize learner success and
ensure overall effectiveness of the training program. The Instructional
Design Specialist II will also review and modify existing programs to
meet changing needs and objectives.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Work Experience (Months/Years)
and Skills Required
Three years experience in training, curriculum development and adult
learning principles.
Two years experience with online course development and e-learning
authoring tools.
Preferred Experience and Education
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field
related to adult education or distance learning.
Demonstrated experience with Lectora software.
