In this article by Bersin & Associates, it describes how they selected to use Articulate over Lectora for SMEs. The throught was the SME/Trainer had to be more tech savy to use a tool like Lectora. However, it appears once the SME/Trainer was trained on software, they could deliver courses with a 3-week turn around.
