As the field of instructional design continues to grow and encompass online course development, speed of development can sometimes overshadow proven processes. Scanning the field of available tools can provide much by way of technology and software, but little in terms of theory and practice. How can instructional designers better design online learning? Is there a quick way to align objectives with content and activities? This presentation will examine the practice of using Blooms Taxonomy in eLearning (eBlooms) at TEEX, including the theory behind the chart and examples of the chart at work.

Presenter:
Tonia Dousay, eLearning Manager
Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX)

This FREE educational briefing is hosted by:
** The E-learning Council (ELC)
** Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR)

This event is open to anyone interested in the topic.

E-Learning Symposium 2009

E-Learning Symposium 2009 was a tremendous success.   We had over 100 folks join us and some of the best presentations I’ve seen at any conference.

E-Learning Symposium 2009 presentations are being posted at E-Learning Symposium 2009 Agenda

We are also working to get pictures from the Symposium up as soon as possible.  Planning for ELS 2010 is already under way!  Several sponsors were so impressed that they signed up for next year already.

Please remember that the E-Learning Symposium, like E-Learning Council is an all voluntary effort.  I’d like to thank the E-Learning Advisory Group for all the hard work that they put in to make this year’s conference a tremendous success.  We are always looking for more volunteers so drop us a note if you’re interested.
