Content curation has become a hot topic in 2012.  Corrine Weisgerber, an associate professor at St. Edwards University, has an excellent presentation on content curation.  She differentiates content curation from content aggregation–content aggregation can be automated but content curation requires the human touch for finding, evaluating and contextualizing information.

E-Learning Symposium 2012 Austin – Presentation Proposal

E-Learning Symposium is back! We are now accepting submissions to present at ELS 2012 Austin on June 13, 2012.

If you are interested in presenting, please complete the Presentation Proposal form by February 8, 2012. There will be approximately six 50-60 minute slots. All sessions must be purely educational and may not promote a particular product, service or company. 

Agenda topics cover an end-to-end spectrum of processes and technology as they are being applied to E-Learning and distance learning projects. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with key influencers and implementation specialists from successful E-Learning projects throughout Texas and beyond.
