Austin ASTD – ILT to WBT – The Great Voyage

Location: St. David’s Episcopal Church Campus
301 East 8th Street
Austin TX 78701 US

REGISTER:http://www.austinastd.org/en/cev/reg/79

The journey from instructor-led training (ILT) to web-based training (WBT) is fraught with challenges, but for many organizations, it is a journey well worth taking. To name just a few of WBT’s advantages, it can reach more users for a lower cost, scheduling is not an issue, and learners can review content whenever they need to.

This interactive session provides a high-level overview of the entire process of moving from being the “sage on the stage” to “guide on the side.”

Topics covered include:
  • Online training frameworks
  • Project planning considerations
  • E-Learning tools
  • Best practices for online learning
